THE FIRST STUDIO ALBUM BY ¡EDDY40HANDS!

A WORD FROM ATTICUS HOWELL (A.K.A. ¡EDDY40HANDS!):

This album has been in development for 4 years and despite countless arguments with colleagues and loved ones I’ve decided to release this album Uncensored and Uncut. This album is not the truth, but it is a mirror. A funhouse mirror to be exact. That is to say highly twisted and warped from reality. I am not Starman and he is not me, despite some similarities to myself I gave him as the artist portraying him. This music was developed based on my personal experiences and struggles with mental illness, the American Education System, and my dealings with the Psychiatric and Pharmaceutical Industries as well as certain personal life touches, anecdotes, and a couple tracks that I made from a personal place that are on this album because of how much it’s evolved over it’s development from a more personal piece about my life to a twisted and dark version of that original concept… and that’s where Starman came in. So despite our certain similarities a lot of his DNA in in those who bullied me, frat boys, horror and anime villains, and the dregs of high school as well as my own struggle with Ego at times and the intrusive thoughts I’ve struggled with. I can understand the complex and controversial nature of this project will lead many to believe me to be a sinister person and they have the right to believe that although despite being flawed i believe in my intentions for this album enough to release it to the public albeit with this disclaimer which at one point I may have found unnecessary but now I’ve been convinced through listening sessions with friends and family that it likely is.
